Triglycerides
Can anyone tell me how high cholesterol can go?
My cholesterol is always around 250 or 260 and I am curious as to how high it can go on a person? I would also like to know how high triglycerides can go on a person. Mine is usually 339. I eat the right foods and I don't eat much meat, so I can'r understand this.

- High enough to kill you. No, seriously...below is information on cholesterol from the American Heart Association... Your cholesterol level is a result of many things, one of which is diet...but your heredity can also play a big part.
- When I was dignosed diabetic (type 2) my cholesterol was near 300 and my triglycerides were near 500. I have read cases where people have cholesterol as high as 500-600. I would think though most of that is hereditary.
