how can i quickly reduce my triglyceride level? what foods do i need a lot of?

i plan to exercise, & drink lots of water. is there anything else i can do to lower it quickly? thanks for answers.

  1. Yes, the number one contribute to high triglyceride levels is alcohol so if you are serious about lowering your TG value you will have to cut out the booze. Other things that will help lower your TG include getting rid of saturated and trans fatty foods in your diet. That means most of your prepackaged items. A good way to do it is if more than 1/3 of the grams of fat on the label come from saturated fat, don't eat the food, even if it says low fat on it. Finally eat a good variety of fruits and vegetables and increase your fiber intake with whole grains, beans and nuts (almonds and walnuts). Good luck
