  1. i dont suggest u to use any medicines to reduceyour tryglycerides count . tryglycerides count has to be no more than a count of 300. i suggest u to do some cardio exercises as the main reson for increse in tryglycerides is increase in cholestrol. Have a garlic every day on empty stomach ( research says having garlic on empty stomach reduces ur cholestrol levels to about 20% in a month) Try having honey and replace sugars with sugarfree. try having green tea with cinnamon power.this reduces ur fat in a very rate and u will find chance in a week.
  2. Ask the doctor as these have side effects on liver.
  3. Statin Note: A low fat diet can actually lead to increased trigliceride levels. Abnormally high triglyceride levels are also associated with a number of diseases and conditions, such as cirrhosis (a disease of the liver), underactive thyroid gland(hypothyroidism), diabetes and pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).
  4. I know the meds u are asking for..but will not write it down since its a prescription med..y dont u ask ur dr. instead of self help
  5. Statins do not lower triglycerides. Reducing refined carbohydrates and processed food, and eating whole, natural foods is the safest way to lower triglycerides.
  6. My Dr. put me on Tricor 145MG for my triglycerides. Mine were 310 then 6 weeks later came down to 115. I would talk it over with your Dr. though because I have had side effects since taking it. Mainly severe constipation, gas and indegestion. If you can get by with lowering it through diet alone I would do it before going on any meds. Mine were fine till I went on a lowfat diet after having two stents put in. The Dr. told me lowfat and low sodium but didn't warn me about avoiding some carbs.
