Triglycerides

Triglycerides?

In a blood test after fasting today my triglycerides are 4380 (normal being about 200). Is that a record?

2. No, that certainly isn't a record.... I am a Manager of a clinical Chemistry lab in a NE Ohio hospital. I have to keep track of all lab results that are outside of the reference ranges. Currently, my lab has tested a triglyceride level as high as 10,050.
3. No, but you did to talk to your doctor and a dietitian to get your levels down.
