what functional groups are involved in the formation of a triglyceride from glycerol and fatty acids???

3. OH (alcohol) groups of the glycerol and acid (-COOH) groups of the fatty acids. Ester is reaction product of acid+ alcohol - water i.e. it is a condensation reaction.
