How do I lower Cholestrol & Triglycerides with diet??

I want to lower my cholesterol without resorting to pills, herbs,etc. What are good cholesterol lowering foods? What foods should I avoid?

  1. Less bad fats and less carbs. Switch to only good fats like omega 3's, olive oil, fish, nuts A two day detox will help with the overload of carbs in your system
  2. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I have reduced tremendously my cholesterol and triglycerides levels and also high blood pressure. (Blood tests results in my blog iunder "How I get there - Optimal Weight, Optimal Health". In addition, take lower cholesterol foods and foods that are cholesterol free. I take lesser prawns, crabs, beef and egg yolks. Eating lots of vegetables and exercising is important. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
