triglycerides?

ok, I have elevated triglycerides. I've been eating old fashioned oatmeal for weeks. What else? I know you are going to say exercise.....

  1. How is your intake of animal products? Because cholesterol is only found in animal products such as meat and dairy. Vegetables do not have cholesterol. Eating high-fiber foods (whole grains and fruits and veggies) in addition to your oatmeal, limiting alcohol and sugar, and taking omega-3 rich foods (salmon, flax seed--sprinkle a few tablespoons of that on the oatmeal!) can help. And yes, a healthy weight will help too!
