How much can your cholesterol and triglycerides levels be affected if you do not fast properly?

Let's say you ate and drank alcohol 9 hours before the test and you took vitamins 1/2 hour before the blood work was drawn.

1. u mean to say what ur fasting should be so that it will show ur cholesterol n triglyceride level fasting means u should remain fast for minimum 3 hours.
2. I dont think it really matters, I have done it fasting and not fasting and my results were the same. SO you should get a near accurate result either way.
