what are the symptoms if the patient has high triglycerides?

what are the possible causes of high triglycerides and how to lower it by means of medications.. pls advice.

1. There are no symptoms, my triglycerides are off the scale. It is caused from too much fat in the blood. The only way to know if you have it is to get your cholesterol and triglycerides levels checked. There are medications for it and diets you can follow to lower it. Check with your Dr. and he can do the test (just a finger stick) in his office and recommend which medication would be best for you as there are so many to choose from. He can also give you a diet sheet to follow.
