What is the fastest way to lower cholesterol and triglycerides prior to blood work?

  1. For triglycerides, avoid as many carbs and sugars as you can.
  2. I'm sure you are wanting to know because of a job physical or an insurance exam...but you really should try to get an accurate reading for your own knowledge. BUT......I have read that drinking a glass of water with apple cider vinegar can help lower cholesterol. It's on all of the homeopathic websites. Good luck, have some oatmeal too!

  6. stay away from cheese, butter, white breads, white rice and processed cakes. go for grains, flaxseed, fiber, fruits, veggies there's also proactiv products out "clinically proven to lower your cholesterol" there's a drink, milk, butter and I think it does help My chol. was 263 and I went to 220 in less than 5 mos. without using RX. good luck and don't forget a little more exercise is always good
