What is a difference and similarity between lipids and triglycerides?
Public Comments
- Your question makes no sense because triglycerides belong to the group of compounds called lipids along with cholesterol, waxes, fat soluble vitamins etc. and there only similarity is that they are all soluble in fat. Differences: a triglyceride is an ester of glycerol and three fatty acids but for example cholesterol is an alcohol with several rings in its chemical structure.
